Certified judges creates a better experience for competitors, spectators, and judges. Having consistent judging at every tournament and every ring is important to ensure quality and consistency at all USKL tournaments. Becoming a certified judge with the USKL gives opportunity to set a standard on how each division should be judged.

This is a great way to get paid and participate in the league. Brown belt and higher are eligible to become certified as a judge with the Utah Sport Karate League. You must be 18 years or older to participate (Younger than 18 requires a referral letter and approval by USKL staff to participate).

*Brown and red belt are only eligible to judge in beginning and intermediate divisions.

You can become certified in one division or all four divisions.
